Manages operations of the clinical pharmacists in inpatient and ambulatory areas, manages the drug information/drug policy center, collaborates with colleges of pharmacy, and manages the operations of the medication safety program. Coordinates the identification of medication use system improvements based on identified risks and recommendations from internal and external sources. Works with pharmacy, nursing, and physician champions to implement medication use system improvements. Ensures practice standards, compliance, and accreditation standards and applicable laws and regulations.

Required: PharmD or MS or equivalent experience; Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience; Contemporary medication use system and pharmacy practice. Oregon Pharmacist License. Preferred: University teaching hospital experience; Failure Mode & Criticality Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma; Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
