| Toxicologist Performs routine and complex laboratory testing, interpretation of test results, and all aspects of instrument operation and maintenance, in addition to supporting clients as they access laboratory services. Follows standard operating procedures and QA/QC protocols to maintain compliance with all certifying agency requirements. This position may be filled as a Toxicologist or Medical Technologist. Job Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in life sciences or chemistry from a recognized college or university. Minimum of twelve months training in toxicology under a qualified director. Applicants without Toxicology laboratory experience may be placed into a Toxicology Technician training position for a period of six months to one year and be subjected to competency assessments and written exams. Training in all areas of the lab must be completed before transfer. Preferred: Successful completion of the ASCP, AMT or CLS accreditation program for toxicology or medical technologists preferred.
